Thank you for your interest in joining UK Orthostatic Tremor Support Group. Members are required to be resident in the UK and medically diagnosed with Orthostatic Tremor. (If you believe you have OT but have been unable to obtain a medical diagnosis, please email membership@orthtrem.org with details and for advice on obtaining a diagnosis.)
You will be added to our membership mailing list (this is not shared outside the charity) for postal or email distribution of our bi-annual Newsletter and our private Facebook page. New members receive two copies of our Information Booklet, which has provided a great insight into the condition and raised awareness, especially among the medical profession. You will also receive a sunflower lanyard with an I.D. card, which is useful when travelling and interacting with the general public.
We hold an Annual Meeting, where we can meet and share and learn about developments in OT research. On-line Zoom meetings and Facebook are a great medium for conversation on issues surrounding this rare debilitating condition.
Please apply by completing the form below. You will hear from us when your application is approved. There is a form that you can print (click here) to fill in and scan to return by email if you prefer. Please get in touch (info@orthtrem.org) if you require further information or an answer to any questions you may have regarding the O.T.UK Support Group. Carers are encouraged to join in meetings.
No membership fee is required. Donations are voluntary. Running costs average £20 pa for each member. You are invited to give whatever is appropriate to your circumstances. Our bank details are:
